Super Smash Bros Melee, Green Greens, by jvvi.
One of the more memorable stages from the entire Smash Bros. series. Particularly memorable for that damn tree that always blows you off the stage. And it thinks it can make up for it by giving you apples.
[Josh says: that tree gives me the heebee jeebees, more so than you’d expect to be possible from cartoony background stuff in a Smash Bros game. Just like, augh, WHAT IS UP WITH THE TREE, AAAUUUGGHHH]
Super Smash Bros Melee, poke floats, by joseph.
Its fun to play it in invisible melee and only 1 stock survival to see who can last the longest.
Super Smash Bros Melee, Yoshi’s Island, by rickystaines.
Hiya Josh, love the website! Found myself sitting next to a bunch of crayons earlier, and thought I’d give it a go!
After a little think, I decided to draw the Yoshi’s Island stage from Super Smash Bros. Melee. I spent many happy hours brawling with my friends on this stage as a teenager, so it was a great opportunity to see how much I could remember! Unfortunately, I forgot to draw Lakitu. Sorry about that!
Best wishes,
Ricky
Zork Super Smash Bros Melee, Hyrule Temple, by joseph.
Don’t deny it! You know this is the stage you played most.
Some sort of octagon thing, I guess Super Smash Bros Melee, Final Destination, by joseph.
You know how hard its to draw a octagon so it looks flat? Even a normal octagon is hard!
[Josh says: joseph, man, I have no idea what this is! Help me out here. Thanks, internet! And now it’s obvious and I am a doofus, because god dang but I hated that freakin’ Mr. Hand jerk.]
Super Smash Bros Melee, Hyrule Temple, by frozenimplosion.
A quick sketch of the Hyrule Temple map from Super Smash Bros. Melee, I added a couple of (the easier to draw) characters, and some random items I remember from the game.
I use to play this game practically every weekend with friends and this was always pretty much our collective favorite to play on.
