One of the more memorable stages from the entire Smash Bros. series. Particularly memorable for that damn tree that always blows you off the stage. And it thinks it can make up for it by giving you apples.

[Josh says: that tree gives me the heebee jeebees, more so than you’d expect to be possible from cartoony background stuff in a Smash Bros game.  Just like, augh, WHAT IS UP WITH THE TREE, AAAUUUGGHHH]

I only go there if I need soup, which is almost never, or when I’m bored

Its fun to play it in invisible melee and only 1 stock survival to see who can last the longest.

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Outset Island, by heartilly.

I loved this game when it came out. I used to play it all the time, and I spent ages exploring. Particularly Outset Island when I was running around getting used to it all and admiring all the bright colours. I added notes for stuff I remembered, like where a few of the people where, who the house belonged to, and important events and stuffed that happened. I tried to note where all those little pigs you had to collect were but I could only definately remember 1 or 2 of them and guessed the rest. It has a bit of a weird 2D/3D perspective this map, but I don’t mind. I compared it to a picture of Outset Island afterwards and I think I did pretty well! Forgot a few stones/trees/ledges etc, but other than that I’m pleased :)

I’m surprised on how much I remember! I’ve got 99% (water) of it correct!!! just missing some 1% land here and there XD

Don’t deny it! You know this is the stage you played most.

Kirby Air Ride, City Trial, by Icefrio.

Anyone who played Kirby Air Ride knew City Trial was where it was at. I chose to draw up the city in all of its glory. I must have sunk 100 hours into City Trial alone with this game, which is how I still remember the city this well. It help’s that it’s not so big, but I feel like I did a pretty good job with proportions and whatnot. I did forget at least one ramp and the sky garden, but I left the latter out because it’s right in the middle of the map and might have been awkward to put it.

Still waiting for a sequel to this game! Cheers!
