Day of Defeat 1.3, dod_aleutian, by 68_pie.
Probably my favourite map at the moment except for dod_tiger2_b2. I tend to play as Allies, go through the middle path then out the window to the double-cap, then try to push the Axis first. I’m fairly hazy on the Axis spawn area but I think the rest is fairly accurate (though maybe the scale is a bit off).
Or if I get bored I’ll prone in a corridor with a bazooka ready to shoot the ceiling.

I promised a few Day of Defeat maps, so while I was waiting for a mailing to finish running at work, I drew another map that I have spent loads of time on. Here is DoD_Donner, drawn from memory. My designated route in CAL matches ran along the bottom part of the map, along the rock wall. I think that’s why I have that area much clearer in my mind than the rest of it. It’s definitely one of my favorite maps. I think this is mostly DoD:Source.
Day of Defeat: Source, dod_anzio, by Andru.
here is my map of the dod_anzio, a game which I loved and my steamcount is wide above 300h of playtime…hope everynote is quite readable, I did my very best :)
[Josh says: man, bloody anzio. Both of the spawn points were miserable places to be pinned down in, more than probably any other map I can remember other than omaha as Allies, but at least you expected to be torn apart on the beach on omaha.]
Day of Defeat, Avalanche, by Gemmy.
For the amount of time I have spent running through the apartments on the bottom of the map (probably counted in weeks or months rather than hours, it was my designated route during Clan play in CAL) I can’t believe I don’t know the exact layout of the bottom set of rooms. Lots of vertical context missing here, and obvious scale problems, but it should be pretty accurate anyway. I spent more time practicing Allies, can you tell?
